Olimpia Pierri
TITLE: ESSAOUIRA
CONCEPT: a woman, suspended between sea and land, desert and ocean, not a slave to others, but to her conscious choices. Mine is a woman who fights and dreams, devoted only to herself.
The dresses, made of leather, organza and silk, are embellished with ropes, laces and emeralds. Each element is a harmonious fusion of rigid and light, precious and poor materials, which make her simultaneously imprisoned and free in her movements. With ease and attention, she uncovers and covers her body as desirable, while in other areas she ties and wraps herself, almost as if building a suit of armor.
COLORING TECHNIQUE: pantone, colored pencil, ink
