The collection wants to express the social contradictions, the realist but also surreal aesthetics typical of Federico Fellini’s work. A look at the human and society in which reality and dream merge.
From a conceptual point of view, the collection is particularly reflected in the film “La Dolce Vita” in which the look at the real world is also developed through fashion, an essential element in the cinematography of the neorealist director.
Fellini builds a male model that celebrates traditional style and formal clothing in stark contrast to a surrounding world that instead distances itself profoundly from this style.
Therefore, the collection is composed of clothes with fluid silhouettes and draped details, almost as if to recall the lightness of the dream, in contrast to more rigid materials such as cotton poplin and Sangallo lace as a testimony to the real context.
