Istituto di Moda Burgo celebrates the success of our student Iris Indrigo, among the top 20 students in Italian fashion schools in Vogue Italia.
We are proud to announce that one of our talented students, Iris Indrigo, was recently mentioned in Vogue Italia, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion magazines, with the publication of her collection.
This recognition not only represents a great achievement for her, but also reflects the excellence of the training offered by our Academy.
Iris Indrigo, a June 2024 graduate of the Fashion Design course, was selected for her innovative and unique work.
Her collection titled “Maison de poupée,” characterized by an innovative “seasonless” concept, caught the attention of the fashion editors of Vogue who decided to dedicate an exclusive space to her in the section dedicated to young emerging talents in “The Designers of Tomorrow.”
“Maison de poupée” tells the story of the formation, awareness and suffering of a little girl who takes refuge in a doll’s house, among soft pillows and pastel colors, but over time finds herself locked in constricting looks, among corsets tightened by laces and cumbersome volumes of crinoline that limit her freedom.
A “Doll” style that has always characterized Iris’ aesthetic during her training at our school, with looks that evoke an image that is at times innocent and playful, inspired by the clothes and silhouettes of dolls.
A combination of sweetness, femininity and a certain childlike nostalgia translated into pretty, dreamy-looking garments, in a style that is very current among contemporary fashion trends, while always maintaining a sense of delicacy and romanticism.
Her creations have shown not only great creativity, but also a deep commitment to sustainability and innovation in design.
For the Burgo Fashion Institute, this achievement is reason for great satisfaction: “Seeing one of our students shine on an international platform such as Vogue is the fruit of the work, passion and dedication that we instill in our educational offerings,” commented Director Fernando Burgo, “Our goal has always been to train the creatives of tomorrow, and this further success confirms that we are on the right track.”
We are confident of Iris Indrigo’s promising career and look forward to following her next steps, confident that she will continue to make a name for herself in the fashion world.
