These days our students had the unique opportunity to enrich their educational and creative journey in collaboration with The Cube Archive: an inspirational fashion archive founded in 2020 in Tuscany a few kilometers from Florence.
Stefano Chiassai, co-founder of the archive together with his daughter Corinna, as well as Fur & Leisure designer for Fendi men, presents a careful and dynamic selection of vintage and contemporary pieces that represent a vast collection useful for creative research by stylists, fashion editors and designers.
The creative project that was presented to the students, focused on the creation of a Moodboard and the presentation of a new concept for a fashion brand using cultural and fashion references, through the use of garments from the archive, which were entirely available to the students.
Between drawings, outfit creations and photo shoots, students created presentations in line with the required brief. The hands-on approach and practical experimentation in close contact with trends, was carried out with great enthusiasm and passion by the Fashion Design students.
An annual event where, thanks to the garments from Corinna and Stefano’s archive, students embarked on a journey through a unique and inspiring space with the awareness of showing their vision by creating new forms of expression through clothes.
