The Vigna d’Argento Award assigned to cav. Fernando Burgo

The Vigna d’Argento Award celebrated another edition of excellence this year, honoring outstanding personalities from various fields, from culture to entertainment, to art and fashion. The Vigna d’Argento Award is not only a recognition of merit, but also an opportunity to celebrate art, culture and commitment in all its forms, paying tribute to those whose work enriches Italian and international cultural heritage.
The ceremony, held annually to celebrate excellence in various fields, was held in Rome on Thursday, Sept. 19, and saw director Fernando Burgo, founder of the Burgo Fashion Institute, awarded for his long career in the industry and the impact of his Institute, which has been training new fashion talent for more than 60 years. In addition to him, artists, writers and entertainment personalities were honored, all sharing a career of excellence and dedication.

The Vigna d’Argento Award, known for celebrating personalities who excel in their field, aimed to highlight Burgo’s role in training generations of fashion designers and professionals who have distinguished themselves internationally. His dedication to teaching and promoting “Made in Italy” was a focal point during the ceremony.
The Burgo Fashion Institute, founded in 1961 in Milan, is a prominent institution worldwide, recognized for its innovative teaching methods and support for young creatives.
The award ceremony was yet another tribute to Fernando Burgo’s tireless work in promoting Italian fashion and training new talent destined to make their mark in the industry.
